Live Edge is used to describe the natural and unedited edge left on the side of a piece of wooden table top. Unlike the common straight edge on wooden table tops, a live edge retains the natural and unique beauty of solid wood bringing the outdoors into your interior design. Also known as Log Edge, Wooden Live Edge restaurant tables will stand out in any restaurant dining setting.

One of the oldest forms of tables, live edge tables have existed since the early days of settlers. Creating a dining table with Live Edge offered cost saving and rapid production times.

This style of table top was also popularized in 1946 by Designer and Architect George Nakashima. He used the classic design as part of his collection of furniture and opened the door to wide use and popularity in modern homes.

The style is no longer limited to homes; it is now widely used in commercial settings such as Restaurants and Bars.
